Really delicious food. The full Hawaiian experience. We ordered the three plate which is all their items and we loved all of them. Our favorite restaurant on the island. Great service. Dessert was amazing too. It also has such a great, yummy smell in the restaurant of banana leaves.

Great authentic Hawaiian food in this hole in the wall joint w/ fast service. I ordered the Pork Laulau Plate, which was steamed pork wrapped in taro leaves & the flavor profile is very similar to Laing, a Filipino taro leaves stew that I often cook minus the coconut milk. I like the side of Lomi-Lomi Salmon & the generous portion of Rice that came w/ it! Mac Salad was yummy too. The place reminded me of a carinderia — a local & affordable establishment where you get your own ice & water from the dispenser, collect your silverware & put your own dishes away after your meal. We dined a few min before 1pm & still got a table. We scarfed down the food within 20min & left to allow other guests to dine in since seats were limited.

First time visiting a real Hawaiian food and first the amazing people who made and works there and the food was just incredible delicious. I highly recommended this amazing experience food. My bless to their hands who made the food .

Best Lau Lau and cabbage pork in Hawaii!! Must try!! The ube coconut cake is amazing too. People here were so friendly too.

Come by before 3 pm on your way back from snorkeling at the Place of Refuge. The Ambience is pure old-school comfort where you we had enjoyed some of the most authentic and delicious Lau Lau’s and Kailua Pork. The ladies running the establishment are super nice offering a smile and good vibes. There is a constant stream of locals and island visitors coming to order 1 of the 3 items on the menu. Yes, only 3 items on the menu plus some limited desserts: 1) Pork Lau Lau 2) Chicken Lau Lau 3) Kailua Pork That’s it. They are all equally delicious and at $12 for the 1 item plus Mac salad, rice, and lomi lomi, cannot beat the price anywhere.

I don’t leave reviews too often but Super Js is definitely worth leaving a 5 star. I felt like I was at home with the atmosphere, home-style cooking and service. Hands down the best Lau Lau I’ve ever had (don’t tell my grandma), kalua pork was absolutely delicious and their desserts were delicious.

Best lau lau in Hawaii no doubt The pork cabbages is tasty and flavorful. People are so nice and the restroom has the best ocean view! 100% recommend to y’all .

We were welcomed by the lovely daughter of a mom and daughter duo who cook and run Super J’s. Not a fancy establishment but everything is made with care! We shared the three combo plate as two people (we don’t have the hugest appetites at baseline though). A good selection of homemade desserts to chose from too - we got the chocolate haupia cake which was not too sweet and perfect after the meal! Love this place and the people that run it! There are a couple large tables for free seating and a large party with kids had come before us and were seated comfortably. Free parking available in a small lot in front of the restaurant.
